INTRODUCTION
How to download for free or purchase the eBook
Corona Renderer 7 was released on 21 July 2021, while the Cinema 4D version was ready on 4 August 2021. Before writing this update, we have tested this new version extensively over the past few months. Also thanks to the supervision of Chaos Czech, the result is a high definition eBook of 100 pages (300 DPI). 50 pages are dedicated to the update, while the remaining pages come from the demo eBook.Β eBook Corona Renderer 7
The upgrade is free for customers of the printed guide: buy the eBook with account and email used for the physical book purchase, typing the COUPON βfree_corona_renderer_7_updateβ in the checkout page of our e-commerce (Fig. 01). Once you confirmed the order (which is free at this point), the eBook and related files can be downloaded from the DOWNLOAD page of your account. If you buy the print version after the release of our update, the eBook is included in the package. If you are only interested in the update, the cost is 4.99 euros.

THE CORONA PHYSICAL MATERIAL
The chapter of CoronaPhysicalMtl begins with an in-depth comparison between CoronaMtl (renamed CoronaLegacyMtl in Corona Renderer 7) and CoronaPhysicalMtl. We continue with the Presets located in the CoronaPhysicalMtl shader. From this point on we explain all the parameters of CoronaPhysicalMtl through many examples and detailed analysis. In the first section of the eBook we study Metal and Non-metal materials (Fig. 04).

Fig. 04 – Metal and Non-metal materials.
We continue with the analysis of Thin shell (no inside) and the differences with CoronaLegacyMtl. The next step is the explanation of transparency in the new CoronaPhysicalMtl and the generation of plastic/glass materials (Fig. 05).
At this point, the detailed study of the Clearcoat parameter group begins. We will analyze the Amount, IOR, Color, Roughness (Fig. 06), Absorption and Bump parameters. eBook Corona Renderer 7
Next, we move on to the analysis of the Layer Sheen parameters (Fig. 07).
The CoronaPhysicalMtl chapter ends with a tutorial on caustics and anisotropy (Fig. 08).
Below is a preview of the animation of theΒ in the CoronaPhysicalMtl Presets and new shaders we created for you (Fig. 09).
CORONA MATERIAL LIBRARY
With the introduction of the new CoronaPhysicalMtl shader, the Corona Material Library has undergone integrations and improvements: a new category called Masonry was created, and new CoronaPhysicalMtl materials added to the Metals and Wood categories. In the eBook we generated renderings of all new Masonry materials, created a new scene and a pleasant animation (Fig. 10, Fig 11). eBook Corona Renderer 7

PRG Clear Sky: THE NEW CORONASKY
The CoronaSky map, already good in Corona Renderer version 6, has been further “enhanced”. The Improved model was renamed PRG Clear Sky, which now supports the Turbidity parameter. Two new tools was also added: Altitude (Fig. 12) and Volume Effect.

Fig. 12 – The Altitude parameter of the CoronaSky map.
We will analyze in detail each new parameter introduced with the new model of CoronaSky using a 3D file of a vast mountain range. Dozens of new renderings and two 3D animations Β have been produced (Fig. 13, Fig. 14), allowing you to see CoronaSky v7 in action. eBook Corona Renderer 7
OPTIMIZATION AND SPEED
Corona Renderer 7 introduces a number of optimizations, and the combination of all these effects can reduce rendering time between 6% and 50%, depending on the type of scene. In our eBook, we discussed all the major improvements (Fig. 15).
